2 Town Hall Sessions on Strengthening National Service

We will be holding Town Hall sessions on 26 October and 10 November to round up the discussions so far, and explore more specific topics in greater depth. The sessions will be hosted by Minister for Social and Family Development and Second Minister for Defence Mr Chan Chun Sing and Minister of State for Defence & National Development Dr Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman, who chair Work Groups on “Support for NS” and “Recognition & Benefits for NS” respectively.
For more in-depth sharing, participants at the Town Halls will be divided into groups of 8-10 for a small group discussion, followed by a facilitated large group sharing session. Everyone will then come together for a Q&A session chaired by the host. Each session is estimated to last about 3 hours.
