Hello,
Just wanna ask all those veterans nsf/regulars posted to Tekong, how do you guys manage to keep fit/bulk up/bodybuilding depsite the hectic schedule in Tekong?
I'm posted as a coyline platoon commander recently, taking platoon next week, just wondering how do you guys continue your gym/training regime and most importantly, your diet in order to keep your calories and stuff. (Cookhouse's meat is too little).
As for training, how long is efficient to keep growing? An hour? And bodyweight or the gym? (No free weights, only machines)
Since tekong is stranded on an island and with the many paper work, chances of visiting mainland groceries is slim. Any ideas on how to overcome?
I understand that too much cardio is bad for building up, we are expected to run distances of 12km and above 3 times in a week or so.
P.S Posted this under SAF, since the veterans in this forum would be more familar with how a typical work schedule/time table would be like in the SAF.

You should have been through Tekong BMT before.
As a commander, you are expected to lead by example. All for one, one for all.
You train with the recruits, don't just open mouth command only.
When you tell recruits to do what, you also do with them.
