Hi,
I was graded PES E9L9 PERM for psychiatric reasons and was informed through an email from my NS unit's NSHRC to say I have been posted out to NS AD in Dec 2012. I was informed way back in July 2012 to attend an ICT in Feb 2013.
Now that I log in to NS.sg, myUnit does not display any unit webpage. It says "Your Unit has not created a MyUnit page". It may mean the NS HRC didn't bluff me through the email, but i can't be sure if this is just a glitch. And there is still an irritating thing - MyCallup STILL shows an ICT for Feb 2013, despite me being "posted out".
I manage to speak to someone more senior in the NS HRC about the CallUp and the answer is "We usually refresh the system ONE DAY before ICT."
This makes me feel tat someone in charge may forget to cancel the ICT call up one day before it. For the record, the medical boards I attended are often not deleted from the system even one week after the board. So if my ICT CallUp isn't cancelled, some officer may think I AWOL from ICT. I am also inconvenient from planning medical appointments, overseas trips for personal issues, etc
I have read somewhere that someone had received an official notice / SAF100 to say an ICT Callup is cancelled. IN teh email correspondence with my NS HRC,. they also stated this about the cancellation of my NS call up "you can print the notification via NS portal". Yet, I dun see a single notification that my NS Call up is cancelled.
So, should I request strongly that I get an offical notification to cancel the ICT, or does the unit have the right to cancell my ICT only at the last minute and make my life inconvenient?
Please be advised that it is always better to have an official reference number (Service Request) with NS.SG Call Centre by calling the 24/7 NS hotline @ 1800-3676767 or email [email protected] to have it in black and white on paper.
For example:

Call the eNSNSNS as advice by admin.
In the worst case if you do not receive any confirmation to cancel the callup, turn up on the day (don't go AWOL) and speak to the persons there, showing evidence in e-mail or writing, etc.
