When I was out having lunch with some female friends and chatting, somehow the topic got onto National Service.
They talked about how good life guys are having in NS nowadays, all of us are 少爷兵。
They lamented that Singapore guys dont have to train as bad as Taiwan or Korean guys that had to train in the jungles.

If we are really all 少爷, do we even need to fking serve NS in the first place ??!!
Serve and sacrifice our 2 years plus youth to protect your ungrateful asses and have you telling that to my face ?!
If we are all 少爷兵， 本少爷 would have slapped the teeth out of her rotten face !!
Do you even know how long Korean guys serve, how long Taiwan guys serve and how long Singaporean guys serve ?!
So if National Service is not conducted in a jungle, does that mean we are having a fking good life in there ?!
Seriously, if next to us was a cesspool full of snakes and scorpions, I wouldnt hesitate a sec to dump all their lousy sorry butts right down !!
This statement alone goes to show how overly pampered Singapore girls have become !
If they cannot utter a word of concern and understanding, already suan ler, why have to rub salt into it, diss and mock at spore guys like that ?!
What is the worth with such kind of women ?!

if you compare just sg soldiers in generations yep life of recruits and soldiers are indeed batter compare to a few geenrations ago. like last time we have to wash our own plates and utensils, tray and fork mug spoon a part of the soldiers' uniform. now cookhouse all rpivatize food better.
but training should be more or less the same. its still trainging and will always be tough. talk about ah sia peng maybe 'rain; is lah, not sg boys 2 men.

talk about traingin i think it need not be so 'tough'. we are not some cult or gangs or clan with a dead code of honor or what shit to follow.
for example why need to alwasy carry a fork mug spoon tray and go cookhouse wash when the cooks back then were chao arh beng and they serve food that even dogs don;t wanna eat and expect you to finish a big serving of rice. come on soldiers may just get choke or suffer from stomah problems!
if you say train tough we can say fine but the rest are not, just plain tortue! any deaths relating to this type of treatment come on SAF wanna be responsible?

Women soldiers are an abomination. Males are responsible for "defense". Enough said. Our army is quite respectable now. Please, if women were conscripts, no terrorists would be even slightly afraid of us. We would have attacks on our important buildings everyday.

we have women soldiers, though they volunteered to take it up as their career path. women also serve in other gahmen orcivil related organization. the amry is just part of the core in our island's total defence structure.
