Hi all if I am excused stay in what time can I book out from tekong during my bmt? And do I need to bring anything stuffs during my first day ?
yes, usually you can only book out in the evening/ sunset/ around dinner time when after the last orders of the day called routine orders, simply known as 'RO', is read out prior to the end of the day's dismissal timing...
if there is any activity in the late evenings, then you can only book out after the activity.
just be prepared for worst case scenario is in the late night you will take the last ferry out when book out, then the next morning you will take the first ferry in when book in.
In tekong, ROs are only disseminated by your OCs late at night(around 2100hrs). This will be announced to your company at approx 2145hrs, give or take, depending on your company and your company's batch(i.e enhanced, leadership, standard, PES C).
ROs are usually the last "activity" of the day, meaning that you will probably be pretty occupied with other things between the morning and the RO.
With excuse stay in, you are not allowed to leave your company line until the last activity of the day has been completed and you have been given clearance by your PS/PC/OC to leave for the day.
In the morning, you have to be at your company line in time for first parade, the significance of the beginning of the day, where the company attendance is presented to the OC.This usually takes place at approximately 0715 to 0745, depending on your company.
As for your first day, well, you can't be too careful. Happy enlisting!
i would rather stay in.
Hi all thanks for the valuable information, I have sleepwalking problems therefore I won't know what PES I will be in. I was initially graded B2L2 but 2 weeks before enlisting I submitted my psychatrist report so D now. Anyone háve got a rough idea what PES I'll be in and whether I'll get excused stay in a not? Or have friends who had this problem also and being graded what PES etc? Just a rough idea will do. Thanks all!

It's hard to tell, just when you getting a pes review again? IMO no point sticking to D really a waste of time. If you think NS is a waste of time, being D is even more waste of time, because you cannnot enlist yet you cannot work.
The lady from cmpb called me and say they will send my updated PES status on three weeks time I asked her if I no need to go down and see the Psychatrist she said of the MO say need then need otherwise they'll send me the updated PES. Rough idea whichpes I'll get?

LOL. When you cannot sleep well, this means that you cannot stay awake in the day. Therefore your performance in the day will be lacking.
On top of that, SAF shouldn't teach you how to kill people. OR else, you end up stabbing your bunkmates. Then, go back to sleep bed in the morning.
