Hi, I would like to know cos I never taken MC during ICT before.
If I fell ill, took MC before outfield, (Meaning never attend outfield training at all) will it be considered high or low key?
How many days of MC for an ICT to be considered as low key? I heard from platoon mates if more than 3 days. Is it correct?
Get light duty lo. What unit are you in?
if no go outfield you can outpro immediately,
no point
First of all, who editted my thread's title? So is it true that MC during ICT = no count? Can explain further?
@ng qibo aaron: But I saw many times, those MC people come back just sleep in the bunk.
if just Att B (aka light duties/ rest in bunk) for 1 to 3 days, just can lah...
but if Att C (go home rest), then your superior can just assess your ICT performance grade as 'fail/ unsatisfactory'. then you lan lan have to go for 1 more ICT to replace this ICT graded fail. seen before 1st hand, when last time that time, the officer-in-charge showed us (reservists) this guy's ICT performance sheet.
it depends on your unit....and the MO if you report sick in camp.
If you report outside camp - also depends on your unit. If they suspect you're malingering, they have every right to visit your home or demand that you endorse MC in-camp....
Wah you plan so early, want to keng already la...
Please lah, if you are sick just take MC.
The last thing we need to know is another NS victim who died during ICT.
Just like in the Jack Neo's movie!
What kind of unit are you in- combat or CSS?
Ask yourself if you will still be doing the same things under light duty. If so, why bother to report sick at all.
If you want MC, maybe yu can get away with it and pass your ICT by reporting towards the end of the outfield.
Just my personal opinion, I have no idea what works for you.

Combat unit, that's the sad thing.
No. Attn B people no need go outfield during ICTs, they only help up CQ do stores or deliver rations.
Then what's the point if report MC at the end but already attended outfield. Do you know how siong is outfield?

Not keng but really not feeling well. Can endure but don't want to risk dying during outfield!
Why my title changed again? Who changed it?

from my understanding is Att C regardless is bunk or home, will automatically discharge from ICT, which means this ICT no count. Then depend on division, normally do make up in another unit.. Once a div Officer told me, the make up normally will be tougher then what you suppose to do.. eg. my camp mate defer local ICT (9days) ended up make up in Taiwan 18 days.
If only slight not feeling well, what we do is report sick, tell MO just give me att B and go back tell OC about it. ours OC will ask us to rest in bunk machaim att C but wont be discharge...
