Commando VA/ BMT: Self-Express Interest @ CMPB to Volunteer?

Hi,
I've a few questions regarding the Commando's selection process. I will be graduating from Poly soon. I was initially assigned PES D during my first medical checkup (2nd last day of the medical checkup window for Poly, 29th Feb), and was subsequently assigned PES A L1 just a few days ago. I would just like to know if this delay (approx. 2.5 weeks) will hurt my chances of getting selected for the Commando's VA? When do they send out VA letters for poly intakes?
Also, would this delay be significant enough to delay my enlistment date compared to my poly peers? I have a Gold in NAPFA by the way.
Would appreciate your comments and insights. Thanks in advance!

This is wierd. Imagine a fit poly guy of commando material, went for checkup on Dec will be sent for VA, but that same guy if he went for checkup on Feb, he won't be selected for VA? Wierd

Feb checkup will send for VA. But the threadstarter Checkup is the 2nd last day of the poly window. Somemore is PES D. VA only PES A and B.
go for further appointment which means he got his pes A around march?
VA ends on feb.
Do you think he will received any VA letter?

Yeah. I picked my medical checkup on one of the latest date (last day of Feb). Pushed to March 19 because of the ECG thing (heartrate quite fast). Even if I had PES A on my first medical checkup it would be irrelevant because the VA would have already passed (Maybe it's still on but it would be too late for me, they have to process my information, send out letters etc.).
Did not know the VA is conducted so early, or I would've picked an earlier date, sigh.

yeah exactly!If you go for the checkup during the early feb you will get the letter. But as you go for checkup later and later, the chances of VA gets lower and lower as the dates are running out.
Yea you can comfort yourself that even if you got pes A for your first checkup, you might be late for the VA because they need to select a date and send letter for you.

My checkup was on 28th Feb but PES A. I would have low chances of getting VA right? (I don't want VA) ^^

I think its as good as zero chances.
VA letter they send very fast one.
That time i check up, about 2 weeks later i got VA letter liao.
Some ppl go within a few days kena the letter liao.
