  If you do, go for a degree first. The pay difference and the career pathway for degree holders is very different from a A lvl, diploma holder.

  As a poly grad, it is not 100% certain that you can end up on the officer track. You may suay suay kena the specialist track, where the pay is much lower than that of the officer scheme.

  Also, your education level also plays an important role in determining your pay. the difference in starting pay between a dip and a degree could be over $1000 or more, and this gap widens progressively as you go through the ranks.

  Yes chicks get not only a good career in saf but are also treated with more respect, easier to get promotions and are more notable in uniform. If you think you like it, go for it, I've not seen ONE single female complaining after joining saf. Why? It was their choice. Nonetheless, you should understand why males complain abt saf. We have little choice, we don't get hidden benefits and its harder for us to get noticed for any good we do. Life sux when you're enlisted, so if you'rea a girl and want to join saf ...I'll tell you to have fun but the moment you ask "Why are guys so whiny?" or anything like that I may just take my rifle and shoot both your legs because even if you join YOU WILL NEVER KNOW HALF THE THINGS WE GO THROUGH.
