Well once you go for your second medical, after which you will have to wait to get your final PES grading. Usually, the general trend is that we receive our enlistment letters within 6 months of the checkup though there are some cases where the people receive their letters a few weeks before they are due to report.
From what I know there are 2 type of these "training groups": Mono-intake and Tekong.
Mono-intake means that you will be enlisted straight to a unit and will start your basic training with them and usually will remain with them throughout your NS term (although some MAY be posted out)
Tekong is basically where the Basic Military Training Centre is located and most of the recruits undergo their basic training here before being posted out to various units or command schools.
As rednano mentioned you can refer to the training dates at: http://iprep.ns.sg/enlistment-schedule.html
although yours will probably not be in these as you have yet to go for your checkup. For Tekong there are 4 'batches' per year. These usually are in Feb/May and August/November (2 months earlier if you fail to achieve the required physical fitness award).
thanks bro, helped me out a lot.
