I do not know swimming, should i go learn? I mean is it better to learn during bmt or learn before i enlist?
Im enlisting the year after btw.]
thanks:)
Knowing to swim in NS had it's advantage.
wear this....
They don't teach you how to swim during bmt too, only how to float
I have friends who don't know how to swim become lifeguard......
If you dont know how to swim by the time you enlist good luck to you.. The people teaching have no patience at all..
No. It is not true. A number of company in bmt will let "passed" recruits do the "duck swim" instead. Sibei shag ah, shag than non swimmer...
Watch every singaporean son to have a preview of BMT. Passed recruits will have to do aqua jogging in water, damm shag ar...
Yes, its aqua jogging. I rather become non-swimmer. Float in the water, relax relax. Aqua jogging is fcuking shag...jog in water 10/20 laps...Must do push ups if come back last for each lap.
Even you know how to swim, you will kena shit work as well.No such thing as switch off.
My experience is buring BMT I passed my swimming, happily no more swimming lesson but ad-hoc do "shit work" in camp.. still relax...
But regretted passing my swimming when turn operational... Those that dont know how to swim, continue swimming lesson, like how to float and swim with flloating device.
Those "swimmer" will continue "combat swim" course, all lesson basically start with tekan and training swim is every lap swam come out do 5 BX and jump in and continue swimming, in SBO helmet and rifle....
To pass the test, is SBO helmet rifle, swim 30lap, then run up diving tower (ard 2 storey) and jump down and continue treading water for 10min..
My batch 70% fail hahahaha.....
So swimmer good or bad? I also dont know
