Actually to solve this problem very easy, but it depends how your unit want.
Solution 1, if duties were split evenly, the one who take MCs will need to do more the following month.
Solution 2, insist personels who's on MCs but got duty on the day must report back to camp to enodrse MC.
Your unit should ensure they repay your duty.
Obviously they don't give a fuck about your welfare. SAF: Serve And Fuck Offf.

if the docs don't issue a MC & if anything happens to that person, the doc will be held responsible..

Well sometimes, it's hard to blame the doctor, if u go polyclinic waited the whole day, I think most docs will give u at least 1 days out of compassion sake.
being a doc is hard, give also wrong & no give also wrong..

The problem is my unit tried solution 1 but then it is like a vicious cycle ppl who chao keng gt more incentives to take more mc.My unit tried solution 2 but then it is easily rebutted. They say that they are too sick to go back camp to endorse.

Well it's whether your unit wanna take further action or not, they can ask the MO to speak to the doctor in the polyclinic or more nasty, bring the serviceman to hospital and do a full check up
What to do? When I was serving as a pc last time, each time people take MC. I also super headache...So have no choice but to arrange those who are there to cover for them. No wonder so many of my man hates me. )= But don't worry lar, just serve and come out lar. I was super done with it with doing all these when I ORD man.
A good CSM or whoever does the duty roster will ensure that those who owe, repay. Seems like your unit one don't give a fuck.
As for checking with the civilian doctor or hospital, its much easier to just do house visit. Most keng soldiers take MC to go out.
TS should go and take MC also, but then it cost money.
Tried to. But got a few guy always MC here and there. Plus we've got many many other things to do beside just planning roster you know. It's not easy for the man, also not easy for the commander. You can't please everyone. Though i tried to fight for offdays for those who did extra duty.
Sad for those who kena cover up duty man.

when a person is really sick, you cannot force.
when i was still in active service that time, this NSF officer and a regular platoon sergeant forced a corporal came back to do night duties when he was on MC from a GP neighbourhood clinic. in the end, really end up this sick person fainted when doing night duty somewhere in camp and admitted to a couple of days in hospital.
because of this matter solely, the PC and PS got questioned. in the end, both the NSF officer and regular sergeant got SOL, followed by the officer ORD at 2LT rank and the platoon sergeant got suspension from work for a couple of weeks, and then got stuck at 2SG rank and never get his 2nd contract for the WO rank.
haha ofcourse there are those who are really sick lar. But I am sure you can tell who are those who keng and who are those who are really sick. I only feel bad for those under me who needs to cover extra duty. The best I can do for them back then was just to fight for offday for them man.
do anything but don't get caught. :)

The problem is some take mc frm neighbourhood gp sia and then most of the time mc more than 1 day like 2-4 days.wtf then i have to cover them.
got. if you got friend working there u can ask them check for you. lols.
GP wise cannot help. quite normal la. GP's MC minimum 2 days one. where got people so stupid go take 1 day. 1 day only from polyclinic. anyway 1 mth mc like 6 - 8 days quite "normal" to me for NSF.
Anyway are you those garang kind? else why wan to "work" so hard cover duty for people? just take MC only. else if so rotate among your clique in taking MC, this way works for me; not sure if it works for you.
If you can't beat them, then join them. Take MC also.
If all else don't work out, then just suck thumb because you're in army.
nowadays doctor oso become kiasi....they got no choice ....if dun give wait the soldier collapse and mati....sure kena interrogated...give too many MCs oso kena scold....
