Sign On: RSAF/ SAF/ RSN (Air/ Land/ Sea). Which You Like?

  When signing on as officers why do most people usually say want sign also sign air force? Is it much easier life there? What are the beneficial comparisons?

  Air force is more pro. After you get out of the air force, you can go to various part of airline industry, getting a job from traffic controller, aircraft technician to pilots. Navy is more limited. But you can still get a space in ship yard, tanker crew or even commercial driver. Army wise, humm... it is slightly limited. I dont really know where army regular can go after he ORD as a rifleman. Culture wise, Air force behaves close to the commercial airline industry. Navy still has a bit of bullying. But since they are all on the same boat, they do look after each other. Army, tends to behave like third world society.

  I nearly signed on in the Navy 11 years ago but looking back,I was glad I did not cos when you are working inside as a low ranking man,you tend to get shot at with arrows a lot.Been thru that in my NSF days.

  Erm, don't think that being in the airline industry is a good thing. Much less being in shipping.
