Hi. Im just wondering. After these 2 months recruit training in NS, there will be another 2 more years to complete. Now during that 2 years, can i go take a night course? is it possible? i mean.. is it actually recommended? because i need the money AND i also wanna take this course i really wanted as soon as possible. im already 20 now and in my mindset, age DOES matter when ur taking up course. i dont wanna be 25+ plus of age then i be taking up these courses. My course is an animator design btw.
and my NS is police haha. thanks for the help guys. hope u all reply
we can't answer your question, for it is up to your commanders to decide. some units allow, some units don't.
Whether or not they want to let you off at night is up to your commanders.
If your commanders are strictly by the book, they will not let you take an outside course.
If your commanders are understanding and generous, they may close one eye.
Either way, if you are ordered for duty at night, you have absolutely no right to protest even if it means skipping your exams.
National Service FULL-TIME is exactly what it sounds like.
please bring this matter up to your MP...and explain the time/ benefit loss for your loyalty of 2 years....as compared to gals of the same age....
it will be good to address this issue even if your MP turned it down...
we need the system to know the inequality....
