  The odds of you getting into Guards is VERY low.

  The number of female specs/officers in Guards/Commandos can be literally counted with two hands. 

  Thus, even if you join SAF, odds are you will be posted to somewhere which you will not like (just as your scenario in MHA now). 

  I can't say whether your current job will affect your application chances, but you may want to call up and inquire if you really badly want to join guards.
