Dear all,
I've done my ns registration 3 months ago and I just realized that my name in initials are wrong. supposedly it should be G X Tan for normal names on the uniform and at that point of time I didn't know, I've keyed in TGX on the ns registration website.
I just realized it and I've called this number 18003676767 and the lady told me that she will email CMPB to make the changes and it will take 3-5 working days to get it done. I'm worried that things might go wrong and affect my VA which I recently went for last month. Should I make my way down to CMPB to bring up this issue to them directly for wait 3-5 days for the email to reach CMPB and thenafter get the changes done?
Please advice me on this and I'm quite worried about it, as I don't wanna get tekan during the first day of enlistment with a weird name initials
Lastly, I've lost weight and I'm sure that I will need a new set of measurements for the uniform and what should I do? Refer it to CMPB or during the day of enlistment report it to the relevent athourity?
Please advice me on this and thank you for your time.
Small matter. Don't get unduly worry over such trivial issues. But rather, spend you time running and building up your core-strength to do pull-up.
Remember, focus on 3 area, endurance run, middle distance speed (2 to 5 km), and pull up. Once you have these, you will enjoy your NS, and instructor will 'sayang' you.
Hey Mel.greywolf, thank you for your reply. I would say my fitness level is adequate enough for NS and what you've mentioned above. Physical fitness is not my biggest concern right now. My biggest concern will be the name in initials and uniform sizing.
So should I head down to CMPB to get all these things done or not? I really don't want to turn on that day at Tekong or Hendon camp (Hopefully) being a blur cock with all these discrepencies in my administrative profile which is otherwise stated in the NS registration website?
Any directions on what to do and where to go?
You've already done the right thing. The email has already reached CMPB. "3-5 working days" is standard text. Going to CMPB yourself will not accomplish anything. Anyway, I doubt that they will blindly follow your order and make a TGX nametag for you. Otherwise, imagine how many uniforms they would need to change, every batch.
