Hey, I am enlisting on the 8th of September and going to Tekong. I am very worried because I got my uniform sizing terribly wrong.
I don't know what happened, I measured and measured and kept getting size 31 on my waist when I am really a size 28. Thought army uniform sizings must be different so I just put 31.
Later I find out my friend who is bigger than me got size 30.
Now I am starting to panic. I'm quite sure I got my boot, running shoe and shirt sizings correct (If I got the shirt wrong I'm screwed since the name is sewn on.). But the swimming trunks and pants are all wrong.
Will they let me change my uniform sizings on the spot? Please let me know if anyone has any experience on this. It will save me many sleepless nights.
Also, I got a replacement pair of swimming trunks that are correctly sized, I can bring it in no problems right?
Thanks guys.
simply just call the civilian customer service officer of www.ns.sg at 1800-3676767...

Don't worry. First two days there will be plenty of soldiers exchanging their sizes on Tekong.
Yah even u get your sizes correct, it does not mean the packing side will get it correct as well. Mistake tends to happen.
