PES Bp: Train up to get into Guards unit? Can I do it?

  Hey guys, I was wondering. Can a Pes Bp recruit who failed ippt get into the Guards formation? Or at least into an infantry regiment? We've been hearing all sorts of stories about obese recruits only getting storeman, clerk or driver vocations....

  Failed IPPT? depending on how badly u done fail.....

  Ok, failed pull-ups only. It's e chionging that appeals to me, as crazy as that might sound. And what about the second part? the obese recruits only getting storeman or drivers or clerks?

  u want u be a officer if not just serve and f off. Dun bother to get in Commando or guards. You want to serve also not in this way.

  Sry ltedino, I guess you look at NS differently from me. Dog, treated like shit, do sai kang, whatever. I just want to experience a soldier's life since I'm stucked here for 2 years, might as well gain everything you can out of it right? I'd rather dig GPMG trenches than be a medic, entertaining the chao kengs.

  I have friend in obese company,ippt become gold and got into ocs.

  So yeah,its all up to ur own performance.

  Pes Bp get to go tekong for BMT. After all the slimming, they get to be posted out.

  Any1 can get to go guards formations, as officer, sgt, riflemen, signaller, and ... even storemen.

  Obese recruits who are obese by medical dues to hypertension, diabetes will get Pes C or E. Many people are trying to get that. Usually non-combat personnel stay out, less chance to be called up for reservists. Enjoy better quality of life.

  My advise is if you are really obese. You should do a medical checkup to see if you have type II diabetes. Do not go and run for a marathon to slim down, and end up dead on the street!!!

  i was obese recruit too. alot of my batch went guards, many ooc. i became a signaller, i serve 2 years finish and be happy. :)
