Hi all,
Need your advices.
I was initially given 6 months temp PES E when at CMPB for pre-enlistment checkup.
And I enlisted last year April. The temp PES E expired last October.
8 months has passed and nothing happened. Nobody asked me to go for review.
Until last week. I was asked to go for review. It was an official email.
I was graded PES E for Hypertension. Taking Medication for that. (Amlodipine 5mg)
And earlier this year, I was given a new medication (Simvastatin 5mg) for High Cholesterol. (I'm Obese)
Last month, my cholesterol levels did not improve and the doctor upped my medication for cholesterol to Simvastatin 10mg.
Any idea what will my PES status be after review? Will it still be E?
Just to clarify, I was graded PES E for Hypertension when I went for the pre-enlistment check up last year april.
I have yet to go for review.
looks like it will highly likely to remain at E, since your condition is slightly worsen a little bit...
strongly recommend that you should and must:
- have instant oats as breakfast, then lunch and dinner all steamed food/ microwave type, for so long as no fried food.
- if cannot tahan fried food, then change cooking oil to canola/ sunflower/ olive oil.
- avoid fried food using palm oil at all cost. although it's still a vegetable oil, it has the highest saturated fat content. hawker centre/ food court/ fast food restaurants use palm oil since it's the cheapest vegetable oil for commercial F&B use.
- greatly cut down a lot on fried food with immediate effect.
- gradual exercise is your best policy.
e.g. 1st walk, then brisk walk, then jog, then run...etc.
Surely remain at PES E for a few more months or simply become permanent.
Thanks guys for your reply.
I will visit the specialist for follow up and get a memo before getting medical boarded for my PES review.
And thanks Rednano, I appreciate your advice. I have been trying to slim down as well as to control my hypertensive conditions. Have lost weight since I started doing so earlier this year. :)
