  I have a really silly question, but how do you wash your clothes in there? Handwash? Get a basin add detergent and wash your uniform, one set per day?

  hi, i'm a poly student finishin my last semester in early march, graduating ceremony falls in mid may this year, goin in ns also dis yr...i'm nt sure abt dis but jus wondering, is there a posibility for a soon-to-be poly grad enlisted before their graduation day (eg. enlisment date on mar/apr) ? thk u...

  Usually, you will enlist first.
  
  On your graduation ceremony day, you will be granted a 24hrs off pass to go there.
  Then you will book in on the 1st boat to Tekong immediately on the next day.

  Usually, you will enlist first.

  Is this assuming that his enlistment date is very soon after final semester finishes?

  Because my tutor told us that male Polytechnic students typically enlist in July or September (even though the last semester ends around march).

  Is my tutor wrong with regards to this?

  poly intake is june onwards.

  unless u repeat semester.

  I have a question. If I'm entering PTP before BMT, will I be with the same people in BMT with whom I was with in PTP?

  Hi, I am enlisting to BMTC HQ on 9th May. I have attained a silver during my napha during my JC days but i very well know that i am unable to pass it now. What will happen to me when i enlist. I used to barely pass my napha during my J2 and now i can't even do pull up after a long hiatus.

  Get up, keep fit, stay and maintain fitness and health always.

  If you are unfit, you will have to stay back on Tekong for Remedial Training (RT) and can only book out in the late evening of Saturdays on the last few ferries, whereas the rest of the people who are physically fit and pass fitness test book out early Saturday morning on the first few ferries to enjoy the weekends on mainland Singapore.

  just grad frm ite few days back went for medical on 22 oct 2012 2nd medical...pes bp been waiting for nearly 4months aniway still not finalised anibody can advise on why they taking their own sweet time to send out the letters....and anibody know exactly or roughly wer moderate obese get enlisted too? ARMY,SPF or CD? thx :)

  but bro i have done checking ns portal like mre than 10X....called them they keep telling me haven finalised! like quite sian coz i have been doing nothing like for mre than 4months....just wanna get my NS done!! so ani bros out there can like answer my above ^^ questions pls it would really be helpful :)

  few days as in was refering to my official grad ceremony but actually sch finish last yr nov 29, one of my malay fren aft like go medical ard aug, october ending get letter ardy smemre oso PES BP enlisting march 4 tekong which is like in another 6days thought will enlist together with him but too bad! i have to wait...so same question^^ ani bros out there can help answer it would be great :)

  When the direct and official NS Call Centre can't even find your name in their Mindef computer system, are you expecting us civilian citizen-soldier to guess an enlistment date for you?

  The only way is to call the 24/7 NS hotline at 1800-3676767 everyday to pester a customer service officer to insert your name into the BMT system as soon as possible.

  Meanwhile, you can get a part-time job to earn some pocket money.

  I gonna enlist soon and I would like to know if i can bring in supplements(eg. protein shakes, vitamins) into Tekong BMT?

  depends on different company

  some allow, some dont.

  I suggest u don't bring 1st, clarify with them.
