  oh ya dun ever try to chao keng in bmt becoz i seen a chao keng warrior kenna some shit at the last day of bmt...

  chao keng warrior's bunkmate leopard crawl to his bed to camou his ass, squeeze a whole lot of camou on his hands, camou his glasses and gave him a powder bath while he is still sleeping... but he woke up after 30mins and found himself to be in a mess... LOL!!

  Another chao keng warrior is worse becoz he has one boot with black camou in it and another boot with green camou in it... the worse part is he don't even know it until he reach home...

  If yes, maybe that is why we are being placed in BMTC HQ because it is for PTP batches? and only those who skipped(Silver and Gold attainees) PTP will know their BMTC schools because the school companies are for BMT phase not PTP...so maybe that is why we aren't placed in a school yet?

  And i have a question...my enlistment is on 9 dec, do you think its possible if i go for the NAPFA on the 30th of november and hopefully get a silver award, will they let me off PTP even though the NAPFA i did wasn't 2 weeks before enlistment date?

  Cause i asked a PT instructor at the NAPFA test and he said there are such cases...

  dont think so. I got my letter for BMTC HQ without the school number as well even though i received 29/30 for my napfa. I think its the new system.

  Yea its ok we will know when we get to tekong :)

  Anyways im going in tmrw at 1.45pm i just need to ask this really urgently...can we go straight to the ferry terminal or do we have to take the shuttle bus from pasir ris? and the stated time 1.45pm that is on my letter, does that mean im suppose to reach tekong bmtc hq by 1.45pm or pasir ris interchange?

  please report at pasir ris interchange.

  there's a personnel over there checking with a name list to tally/ verify recruits.

  the letter's stated timing is to report at pasir ris interchange.

  The enlistment notice asks you to arrive at the bus interchange 45 minutes before your specified enlistment time.

  Well normal lah...when u enlist you'll see, SAF, rush to wait...most of the time.

  Hmm from Mindef's definition B2 is fit for some combat positions but since there's the land code L3, it probably means that the stations that you have to be excused from rules you out from combat since it stated "combat service support"as opposed to someone who has B2L1 maybe?

  Anyone knows when will you enlist if you are currently in poly.
  Graduating around May.

  My medical checkup is in Feb.
  
  I failed my NAPFA.
  
  When is the rough month i will be entering the army?
  
  I'll probably be in PES B because I used to have asthma before.

  Hmm, it doesn't show after March.

  I've called the hotline to ask when will I enlist this year, they said it will be about 6 - 8 months after the medical check up. Is this true?

  6 months is inclusive of PTP.

  hello guys, some help here please. Im currently studying in ite and will graduate somewhere around march. I went for my medical checkup on oct last yr and also went for the vocational assessment at hendon camp on the 18th Jan this year. Any idea when i will receive my enlistment letter? I never took my NAPFA test btw.

  Hi I hope you guys can help me with my problem.

  I have eczema on my back, legs and neck.  I went to see a specialist and she gave me a specialist letter to submit to the MO.  She wrote about my condition and stated that my eczema will worsen when exposed to heat and dust. But when I gave my letter to CMPB, the MO did not do anything about it.  SO what should I do?

  FYI, my eczema quite bad and I'm enlisting real soon.

  Hi guys, i am 18. I need  to report to Basic Military Training Headquarters on 07/03/2012 which is next wednesday. I'm going in for the PTP because i was not able to get a silver for napfa. My PES status is A. So now i have a few questions in mind, pls help and advise me. Thank you very much! 

  1. Anyone enlisting same date as me?! 

  2. Is PTP training at tekong? The food good anot? LOL

  3. How long must i wait before i can book out?

  4. Which unit and vocation am i likely to be posted to?

  5. I want to get into police force, anyone can tell me how to apply? But if apply, army will let me go over to police force? (Not because i want to avoid ns life, i always wanted to be policeman.)

  Any brothers out there pls help and advise, thank you, thank you!

  You reporting to BMT HQ right? Then it's Tekong lah. Food, now I would say huge improvement from my time but what you expect michelin star cooking? If I'm right your 1st booked out should be 23 or 24 Mar. As for vocation, you can be anything.

  You wanna sign on police? Search online lah.
