Yup.....but I'm sure you'll not be the only one. During my times, we draw our barang barang in Keat Hong Camp, ended up some of us need kit exchange on the day. Now measurements taken and barang barang send to camp still need kit exchange.
well.... i bet there will be hell lot of people exchanging there.. but i bet my case will be the most problematic to handle and will require hell lot of time there settling my things.
1st Feb 11.45am BMTC HQ!
Hi guys new here
Please correct me if im wrong this is just an assumption...can i guess most of you people who are enlisted to BMTC HQ did not attain silver or higher for NAPFA?
If yes, maybe that is why we are being placed in BMTC HQ because it is for PTP batches? and only those who skipped(Silver and Gold attainees) PTP will know their BMTC schools because the school companies are for BMT phase not PTP...so maybe that is why we aren't placed in a school yet?
And i have a question...my enlistment is on 9 dec, do you think its possible if i go for the NAPFA on the 30th of november and hopefully get a silver award, will they let me off PTP even though the NAPFA i did wasn't 2 weeks before enlistment date?
Cause i asked a PT instructor at the NAPFA test and he said there are such cases...
Thanks

Its not late...just that i went twice already but didnt meet the 221cm SBJ requirement for silver...i got 216cm , so i really want to get silver by this wednesday
How do i know if I am in the leadership batch?
When you go there you will know...
All Tekong batches are Leadership, I think.
So, have they started issuing the iPads to recruits yet?
Say byebye to your nice hair for a few months bah. Here comes botak recruits!
U will be surprised, some sissy actually cry when they get their hair shaved at Tekong.

Sure or not? I never seen this before, but I do know people who cried just because they heard all the vulgarities.....all the F....CCB...etc etc..
I am enlisting to tekong on 9 dec...and i booked my NAPFA on wednesday 7 dec, if i attain a silver...do you think i will be able to skip PTP?
The instructor at the stadium told me as long as you are still able to book a NAPFA test date no matter how close the enlistment date is, you can still skip PTP if u get silver.
And no its not my first time doing NAPFA at toa payoh, i did it 3 times already but i failed today sit and reach because i overworked my leg muscles the day before.

If you are close to passing, it's worth trying and saving 2 months.

Yea i am going to do the NAPFA again...even though the thought that enlistment is just 2 days away from the test makes it feel so pressured...the worry i have is that CMPB might consider it too late to defer from PTP? and i might have to go for PTP still even if i got silver. Don't get me wrong im not desperate to escape PTP i know it helps ease process to BMT...but there is so much things to do during december and january that i dont want to waste 2 months in tekong just exercising
The time indicated on the enlistment notice is the time you have to be at Pasir Ris interchange, right?

What does the letter say? If it say be at the interchange then that's the time lor, but if I were you I would go slightly earlier lor, just in case. So u settled your accomodation problem? Btw you are coming back from which country?

Yeah, it's sorted out. I'll still be staying in-camp, though. I'm from Canada.
