What do u mean by military visitors?
are there any ways for you to go into guards unit after your teong bmt?

oh i'm saying that after i graduated from Tekong, can i still go back there for a visit?
That depending on do you have a purpose there? If yes, can. If just for purely visit, I doubt so.

People get posted into guards also from Tekong, alternative you can go thru SCS or OCS.
Hi,
anyone bought E51 mobile phone for BMT...battey life good or not ? need to buy space ?
anyone enlisting on 8 Sep?
@Lwoshiijie Are you posted to 3SIR?
Recently I've went for my medical checkup and they told me to come back, since I had two specialist appointment letters. I just went to my specialists for my skin and for my foot, I wonder if anyone could estimate what PES I'll be in.
So the skin specialist say that I have "Severe cholinergic urticaria with physical dermographism, and is triggered by heat, sweat, physical activity, and temperature changes."
I also have flat feet, which is pretty bad not sure what my doctor wrote in the letter because he sealed it up. My Canadian doctor said that I have severe pes planovalgus and Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction, and also said repetitive jumping could injure my foot condition.
So if anyone could help me out I'd be very appreciative, my second appointment with the M/O is coming up soon.
nope. mine is BMTC
Hey guys,
I had a couple of questions and I was wondering if anyone can help me out. I'm going to start off with a background on my situation.
I'm enlisting to BMTC HQ on November 24 for Obese BMT. I've been studying in the US for the last 3-4 years and had my education listed at "A-Level Equivalent". Apparently in the SG military system, they also logged that I requested deferment while I was still in school because I studied for a semester at Harvard. I did pretty decent in school and was president of a couple of societies.
My questions are:
1. Is the PES BP BMT going to be as chill as people make it out to be? -- what should I expect?
2. Being a foreign student, I heard that I'd get a lot of shit from the commanders, how true is this?
3. What can I do during BMT to not get totally shit all over and marked for being a foreign student?
4. Will my past record that is logged into their system play any role in determining if I get put through the "leadership" batch or not, despite being in PES BP?
Thanks and I really appreciate all the advice I can get.

1. BMT is tiring but if u put in the effort for the training u should b able to pull thru decently. i am nt fr the BP batch but i do see some BP guys while i'm in BMT. u can see tt some juz cant b bothered while there are others who does put in effort.
2. Not true yet at all. the commanders dun care where u studies. if the commander does pin pt u bcos of ur education background, pls do go thru the chain of commands n report it. dun let such a behaviour disturb u, it's nt fair n SAF wont allow it.
3. ur bmt wont b shitty n u wont b marked bcos u studied overseas. but if u r damn selfish or chao keng, b prepared to b marked. bmt will b v enjoyable for all if everyone cooperate with each other, help each. (i am gg to POP next Sat, and I can't bear to leave BMT, i will totally miss my days in BMT)
4. the 'enhanced/leadership' batch is only a label, it's for PES A/B ppl who passed their NAPFA with min silver. it does nt gaurantee tt they get into SCS or OCS. ur chances of getting into command depends on ur IPPT results, ur performance in SITEST n overall performance in bmt. so work hard if u wish to get into command sch.
P.S. there is no such thing as Leadership PES BP Batch; but as i said, the word leadership is just a label it wont gaurantee a place in command sch.
Hi,
I have not recieved my enlistment order yet. Is it safe to assume that I won't be enlisting this year?
Anybody taking A level this year have received their enlistment date? Like LRooke I would like to know that too. For Pes B2L2 taking A level this year, any idea what the past cohort date of enlistment for this Pes,..in Dec or in early 2012?..thanks in advance
anyone got a rough idea how many recruits get enlisted at a specific time for enhanced BMT?
e.g. 0945hr reporting time got x number of recruits enlist at the same time.
1145hr reporting time got another x number of recruits enlist at the same time.
is it like around 50+ recruits per time slot?
