I'm a PES C9L3
I will be enlisting on 13 Aug 2013.
I've checked the iPrepNS website and found out that on 13 Aug, it will be a BMT for PES B.
So, i'm confused now. I'm a PES C but enlisted together with PES B people.
Can anyone advice?
I'm also enlisting on 13 August 2013... pes B1L1 though

Are you physically fit? If you have been found to be fit for full Basic Military Training (BMT) i.e. PES A or B1, you may want to take the NAPFA test.
Should you attain a NAPFA Gold or Silver award at least 2 weeks prior to your Physical Training Phase (PTP) enlistment date, you will attend a 9-week Basic Military Training (BMT) and enjoy a 2-month reduction in your full-time National Service. Those who fail to attain the required fitness level will have to undergo a 8-week Physical Training Phase (PTP) before attending the 9-week BMT.
The NAPFA test is conducted at the Toa Payoh Stadium (map to Toa Payoh Stadium) every Wednesday (except public holidays). You are required to book an appointment for the test via the NAPFA test booking system prior to the test date and you are only allowed to make one valid booking at any one time.
Please note that the NAPFA result is valid for 1 year from the date of test. You are advised to report for the test in acceptable attire and punctually. All the six test items must be completed in one single sessions. A maximum of 2 to 5 minutes rest period is permitted between any two tests (for the first test items); a 15 to 30 minutes rest period is permitted before the sixth test item.
NAPFA tests at Toa Payoh Stadium are conducted strictly on appointment only. Therefore, advance booking via NS Portal must be made latest by Tuesday before 12 noon in order to take the NAPFA test at Toa Payoh Stadium the following day.
Do note that pre-enlistees who do not book their NAPFA date via the system would not be allowed to take their test at the Toa Payoh Stadium.
If you wish to know more about the NAPFA test, you may want to read through the FAQ before you make your booking.
1. Can I take the test after I failed the NAPFA test the last time?
Yes. You are allowed to retake it until you pass. There is no limit to the number of times you can take the test.
2. When is the last date I should take the NAPFA test?
You should attempt the test as soon as you are ready and you are advised to take it at least 2 weeks before the date of enlistment.
3. Can I retake only the test items I have failed in my last attempt?
No. All 6 items must be completed in one single session.
4. Can I amend my booking after I have booked?
Yes, you are allowed to amend your booking before 12 pm on the day before the test date.
5. Can I make a few booking together?
No, you are only allowed to make 1 booking at any one time. You can make your next booking after the test date you have booked.

Didn't see it at first. My bad. >.<
Hello going to enlist on 11 Jun in SCDF.
Im PES A but havent take napha, not sure should i go pass napha cos i read somewhere that PTP+BMT more relac than enhanced BMT. Also if I pass napha will i change from SCDF to other units cos i prefer SCDF more than SAF.
10 May, 1.45PM, BMTC tekong anyone?
Hi all. Just a quick question. If I enlist on the same day but different timing with my friend what does it mean? Does it mean we different company or platoon?
Hi all, a gay guy here enlisting in 13 Jun. I've got a few questions to ask.
1) Can i buy a few brown T-shirts/singlets from the eMart and bring them in on the day of enlistment? Since, they only issue 2 shirts and 2 singlets which i don't think is enough.
2) Would i be able to wear jockstraps during BMT, normal underwear would give me abbrasions on my butt ;)

1. Do eMart accept cash? If I am not wrong it only accept credits for army items
How do I check my SAF.eMart credits?
You
need to access SAF.eMart to check your credits. Credits cannot be
checked using NETS terminal or other Cashcard devices. Click HERE access
SAF.eMART.
I have lost my user ID and password for www.ns.com.sg. What should I do?
You can call 1800-eNSNSNS (1800-3676767) to request for a new user ID and password.
What will happen to my unused credit balance at the end of the term?
Your
unused balance will be rolled over for another term. In other words,
the allocated credits can be used for two years for active servicemen
and four years for NSmen.
When will be my next top up date?
Topping
up of credits is carried out on the 1st day of the month for those
whose last credit allocation falls before the 16th of the same month. For
example, if you receive your 1st credit allocation on 8th Mar 2001, you
will receive your next allocation on 1st Mar 2002 for active servicemen
and 1st Mar 2003 for NSmen. If you were allocated credits after the 15th
of the month, say 17th Mar 2001, then your next top up date will be 1st
Apr 2002 for active servicemen and 1st Apr 2003 for NSmen.
I need to purchase some items but do not have sufficient credit balance. Can I request for topping up the credit?
No,
topping up of credits will only be done based on the credit allocation
cycle. However, for walk-in purchase, you can still purchase the items
using the remaining credits and top up the difference with your own
cash. Therefore, you are advised to spend the credit allocated wisely.
Why is my credit allocation less than what I am entitled?
If
your ORD or your balance of service is less than 1 year then your
credit allocation amount will be pro-rated. For example, if you are an
active combat serviceman with a balance of 6 months service:
$260/12x6=$130. Therefore you are entitled to $130.
What are the benefits of the NSmen Advance eMart Credit System?
It
addresses the potential shortfall of NSmen's eMart credits in the
initial NSTS cycle due to possible surges in the PE replacement. At the
same time, this system maintains gradual allocation of credits over the
NSTS to better regulate the PE replacement pattern.
Why is the
advance credit capped to 113 credit points for Army and RSAF active
NSmen and 105 credit points for Navy active NSmen?
We are not
increasing the amount of credits. NSmen can now advance the credits
from the next cycle, which is capped at 113 (for Active NSmen from Army
and Air Force) and 105 (for Active NSmen from Navy) credits.
Is the advance credit system available to all NSmen?
In
consideration that the PE replacement needs would abate towards the end
of NSTS, this initiative will only be available to NSmen who have not
completed their 6th high-key ICT. Those who have completed 6 and more
high-key ICTs, Reservists on Voluntary Extended Reserve (ROVER),
Volunteers (VOL) would not be eligible.
Why is my advance credit limit lesser than my standard credit limit?
If
your ORD is before the following year's top-up, your advance credit
limit will be pro-rated. The advance credit limit will be equivalent to
the amount of credits you will receive during your next top-up.
Will the advance credit system be made available to Active servicemen?
This
initiative is to circumvent the potential surges of PE replacements for
NSmen during the initial NSTS years when they transit from Active to
NS. Active servicemen will not require such system. They are fully
equipped with new PEs upon recruitment/enlistment, and the allocated
eMart credit will be sufficient.

http://iprep.ns.sg/enlistment-schedule.html
Pre-enlistees will be required to complete pre-enlistment procedures and medical screening before they are scheduled for enlistment.
They will be scheduled for enlistment into the respective enlistment intakes based on numerous considerations such as the medical & physical fitness and educational qualifications of the individual, as well as the manpower and operational requirements of the various intakes.
In general, pre-enlistees from the same 'A' level/International Baccalaureate (IB) or polytechnic cohort are enlisted over two intakes due to capacity constraints at the NS training schools. For example, 'A' level/ IB holders who graduate in Nov/Dec are typically enlisted in the Dec and Mar quarterly intakes. Polytechnic diploma holders who graduate in Mar/Apr are typically enlisted in the Jun and Sep quarterly intakes. ITE certificate holders and pre-enlistees with other qualifications are enlisted throughout the year.
Pre-enlistees can only be assigned to an enlistment intake after being certified medically fit for enlistment at the pre-enlistment medical screening. Pre-enlistees will receive Enlistment Notices to notify them of their enlistment date about 2 months before their scheduled enlistment.
Notes:
Pre-enlistees who are graded PES A/B1 and who attained a NAPFA
Silver or Gold award in the 12 months before their enlistment date
will be enlisted for their 9-week BMT directly. Pre-enlistees with
PES A/B1 but who have not attained a NAPFA Silver or Gold award in
the 12 months before their enlistment date will be enlisted into an
8-week PTP prior to the commencement of their 9-week BMT.
Enlistment schedule is updated as at 20 Mar 2013.
Enlistment dates are subjected to adjustment, due to operational
requirements.
If you have
queries regarding your enlistment date or the enlistment schedule,
please call 1800-eNSNSNS (1800-367 6767) for

hi anyone enlisting to BMTC HQ on nov 6 2013?
Hi,
I'm currently given PES D status as I have to undergo further medical review at KTP Hospital on 6 Aug. The medical review letter says that I will only get my cofirmed PES status 3 months after the hospital review - is it really going to take that long?
Assuming I get a clean bill of health from the hospital and is given a PES A/B status, is there still possibility for me to get enlisted in Dec 13 for the PTP BMT (I did not get silver for NAPFA), considering that my PES status is unlikely to be confirmed until after 6 Aug?
You can call the 24/7 NS hotline at 1800-3676767 to ask.

Hey guys, after pushing NS for quite a long time I finally got my PES statues(B1L1) and enlistment date which is on the 12 Dec 13 and I am supposed to report to BMTC HQ
My questions are
1) Is there a difference between school and HQ? Cause I cant seem to find any 12 Dec 13 batch for any school (http://www.mindef.gov.sg/imindef/mindef_websites/atozlistings/army/About_BMT/Enlistment_Dates.html)
2) Do I have to change my specs to black frame before I enlist or they will change it for us?
3) I got silver for my poly napfa but the 1 year validity has expired and I have to undergo 8 weeks PTP, lets say I retake napfa and passed it will my enlistment date be postponed? or I still get to enlist on the same day?
Tks in advance! xD
1. Refer http://iprep.ns.sg/enlistment-schedule.html
2. Buy it yourself. Black plastic frame, cheap and good. If damaged, not so heart pain.
3. Read carefully the post just above your post.
