If you started off completely untrained like me, there will definitely be a noticeable increase in muscle mass because of how little you had to begin with. Beginner's gains are always easy. Beyond that, it would depend on your vocation whether you get the necessary sleep, diet and even time for proper exercise for further growth.

Depends on what Pes you are in and what vocation you get. And it also depends on what you do in the army.
Generally if you are in Pes A and B, just eat every meal, train as they ask you to, and you will be sure to gain at least a bit of muscles.
If you are in a slack vocation, and you eat all the time, I can guarantee you will gain weight but not muscles.

Yes my PES E anc C campmates all gained some weight due to slack vocation as clerk or storeman.
