Chiong Sua: Field Equipments = Outfield Equipment Kit?

  Hi all, in my posting orders, i am suppose to bring 'field equipment' when i report to Seletar East camp tomorrow. May i know what does this mean? Do i need to bring my duffle bag, or just the field pack will do? Also, what do i need to include in my bag? I've called the camp but no one picks up.

  Hi, i will be CBRE PNR, ie combat engineer. reporting to 39SCE.

  Bring everything...39 SCE is combat engineer that deal with chemical defence.....be prepare to be on mob 4 every now and then.....

  Hi tarutaru. When you say everything, does it include stuff like camou cream, toggle rope, mass tin? I ask because chemical defence mah, bring mass tin cook then the chemical contaminate the maggie mee how? lol

  Haiz....just bring lor, the camou cream, toggle rope and mass tin does not weight 10-20kg right.

  may i ask, just know you mention something about mob 4... what is that? and were you from 39SCE previously?

  chemical suit....i think it's MOP 4 not MOB 4... . I was from Seletar Camp but not 39SCE. Hate the suit..damn bloody hot and smelly, cannot think how people can do PT in it without getting heat exhaustion......

  Seletar Camp, used to have a lot of units inside there, although the main 2 is HQ ARMCEG and 35 SCE, now I think lot of them shifted out liao.

  I see. omg i am so not looking forward to 39SCE after hearing about heat exhaustion. How is the training like there for 39SCE? Are there out fields, route marches? I heard must dig shell scrape with the chemical suit....

  I think have lor, chemical defence will be your bread and butter for next 1 and 1/2 year of so for your NS route. I do know last time, they everyweek had a day where they wear the chemical suit mask to play games like basketball and etc..actually in NS, all will need to go through chemical defence, only you need to go through a lot more.

  i was from CBRE DG last time. be prepared to wear MOP 4 and mask to do physical activities. after passing out, quite relaxed unless you are the duty platoon which is on standby

  Hi sexy girls. May i ask, what is the diff btwn CBRE DG and CBRE PNR? How long is the training phase for CBRE PNR? And, how often will the duty platoon change? thanks!
