Pre-Enlist: Can I bring Grooming Kit & Electronic Gadgets?

  I'm just curious, am i allowed to bring my own facial cleanser for ns? also what about skincare products like moisturizer. I heard that we are also allowed to bring IT products example ipad. Is it also true?

  Every BMT company/unit has different rules.

  Some allow you to bring phones but don't allow you to bring charger (no use allowed of SAF electricity). Most allow use only during admin time. Some have no restriction.

  The personal cleansers etc are probably ok, but the electronics best wait till after confinement week before bringing it in, at least you get to learn the rules on electronics 1st before you bring in something that might kenna confiscated.

  PS: Check your phone, is it a camera phone? If yes, might want to get it changed.

  Thanks too. I find it useful too. I'll probably buy a prepaid card non-camera cellphone.

  I would like to ask whether books are allowed? I like reading books as it's one of my hobby. Another item is whether I can bring in a wig. I'm not going to wear it in camp but after camp while going home. I'm extremely shy and afraid to go outdoors in crew cut. I'm going to put it in a bag and no one knows about the wig. I'm only worried about spot checks if they have.They won't do spotcheck and laugh at me right? I'm feeling anxious about it.

  It might be allowed, but you empty your bags as a group to check for restricted items, maybe resulting in further embarrassment for you.

  Have someone meet you at the gates and pass you your wig.

  Maybe you can bring a cap, that's what im gonna wear when i book out.
