NS: Wisdom Tooth Extraction for 100% Subsidy @Govt Hospital?

Hi peeps, I would like to ask how can I get a referral to hospital for wisdom tooth extraction.

I am just wondering if I can go to the polyclinic, tell the doctor about it, and get refer to hospital for extraction?

Or do I need to go to my camp dentist for referral?

i'm asking this because it will be a long wait until my appointment with my camp dentist and I am afraid I can't wait that long

Either go to your camp dentist, or book a appointment with the dentist at any polyclinic. Should be able to get the referral letter easily this way. The good thing about dentist at any polyclinic is u can give them a call or email them for earlier slots once its available.

If u go to the polyclinic's gp, they may or may not give u the referral letter. i got rejected once.

just go to your camp dentist, and if your wisdom tooth is urgent case, he will help you book an appointment as soon as possible (also have to see if the govt hospital's earliest appointment slot).

its not. they say u can claim for it, but i guess not possible to do so. no harm done though, if u are going to start taking care of your tooth then take that appointment as a once a year scaling and polishing session. cost about $40.

if u got referral from camp dentist, u go any government clinics/hospitals your bill will be fully paid for with your 11B.

Go polyclinic get referral letter then call to book an appointment at National dental centre.

U r clever to do that in NS, save money.
