WIth POP comes a lot of other shit
2 things i hate the most of the army is outfield and routemarch, which is why i've thought of signing on with the airforce to avoid all that.
Recently I was called to a call by some people from ARC and apparently I'm in the top 30% of the 04/10 cohort and he said that most likely will be going to command school.
I don't know how I did because I was rather low profile, peer appraisal was only average and even my sgt didn't recomend me to mindef for command school.
Now, I heard in command school you get to choose your vocation or somewhat so. I know outfield is unavoidable but which vocation has very little or no routemarches at all? The POP 24km was almost unbearable for me already with blisters everywhere and aches all over.
Please advise. Thanks!
Even if you don't have route marches, you will still need to chiong sua and walk a lot too.
Well. It just show that people know how to take a step backwards and keng, while you emerge as the top for being a blur sotong.
Enjoy.
Dont be cocky! Sir! if you dont enjoy road march and outfield, dont expect to lead your men around. lol.
agenda, u meant AFRC? in SISC, everyone would be do the same thing.. for OCS u may have choices at certain times. if u really want to be the wind, dont miss the timeline.
".. I heard in command school you get to choose your vocation or somewhat so."
at the end of Service term in OCS, you will fill out a form that states your preference of vocations. this is simply a preference, and your PC will try his/her best to fulfill that request. but ultimately, the final decision comes from higher command after an assessment of your grades, commander's appraisal and other factors, which i, myself, am not clear of.
just so you dont enter OCS with the mistaken impression that you can choose your vocation.
i'm not so sure about SISPEC. if anyone could kindly enlighten?

choose, can.
but u will have to fix a path for yourself at the right time, before the term ends.
hmm i'm not sure i get what you mean. would you mind explaining "[fixing] a path for yourself at the right time"?
