Just got informed that I'm eligible for WSO FTR vocation with the RSAF although ultimately I wanted to become a pilot.
I thought hard at first and was against the idea of becoming a WSO FTR but after some time I realise that signing on as a WSO FTR might not be too bad as it helps me achieve most of my goals.
I have some queries and would like to have them answered if possible.
1) For the WSO FTR vocation, will there be any elimination like it is for the pilot vocation? If I do get eliminated, will I have to pay them back anything?
2) I have a placement in a local university, if I sign on with the LSA(Pilot/WSO) scheme, when will I be sent for my studies?
3) When I'm done with my bond, where can I possibly work at with my WSO FTR experience and would it be possible to become a commercial pilot at all?
