Hi, im currently serving my bmt now and its the 6th wks of my bmt and im contracted with chicken pox and a mc of 10days was given to me. I would like to know that will i be able to pass out successfully or do i need to recourse? att B throughout the field camp though but passed range and is confident about passing the upcoming ippt.
Depends on the 10days mc,what is being done in those 10 days.
i missed the sit test, 12 and 16km route march during this period. but i shld be able to reroute march after i returned to camp right? so issit a very big problem and willl i recourse?
The basic criteria like what they sorta say is 2 out of 3, for field camp, ippt, range. but there are other mitigating factors and whether you can pass out or not still depends on your oc or so
Threadstarter might have problems passing out.
Try talking to the OC. Think they are more lenience now.
nowadays is die die pass people out.

Not really gt Ppl PES C fail BMT. PES C less strict also gt to recourse.
say if never pass out, means cannot go into command school?
sorry for my mild knowledge about NS.
criteria is 2/3, which is ippt, field camp and range if im not wrong, although if you absent for a certain amount of days they might fail you too.

Never pass out cannot go command school or OCS.
Never pass BMT ur rank becomes recruit until u pass ur BMT recourse.
Sadly many people fall sick during BMT and during those critical phases such as field craft/camp etc. These are vital if you want to be selected for command school.

It's not about whether you chiong sua or not because everyone goes through that. Try to top your peer appraisal and get your commanders to see that you have the potential to lead (don't wayang though.)
If you plan to sign on for an officer vocation and already applied, high chance you will go to OCS if you have a decent performance in BMT.
