NS Pay: Deduct for What Subscription Payment / System Error?

  Hey Guys! As u all know...the current rec/pte allowance is 420.....but this month, i checked my bank account and i got only S$39. I checked my payslip online. Its says that a deduction of S$379.95  was made for ad-hoc payment! Whats that!!!?? How am i going to camp! How would an nsf survive the month!? anyone with experience of this please notify me..and tell me whats the outcome..thanks

  they say in the army

  the pay is very fine

  they give you 100 dollars

  and take back 99

  I think you better check up with the clerk or whatever, my friend also get similar problem.

  I completed my 12 years cycle

  still waiting for my 300

  so who more pity?

  Rot in camp and don't book out. You will survive like this. 

  Back to the topic, call up and check where your $$ went.

  I suspect that you sign up for something.

  Check with ur S1 Clerk. Normally they will deduct ur pay under conditions like they overpaid you the earlier month or they pay you earlier for advance overseas allowance and for some reason you can't go so they will take them back. Happens to me before, must go down personally  to mindef cashier to pay
