Go see a specialist, then ask them write letter/memo, or else no chance, btw u said that your back will ache after prolong standing, how long do u consider long?

For scoliosis, it's usually the standard PES B.
Unless you have, for example, slipped discs (or any other spinal problem) and have gone thru X-ray/ CT/ MRI scan to prove it so as to support the case, then it's within PES C range.
As always, please refer to:

As usual, the layman term of "No specialist memo, no talk" applies.

about 1hour? if i stand to my comfort maybe abit longer same to sitting and lying down (sleeping).. i stop seeing specialist since 2006 cos not in secondary liao need pay.. so never follow up.. so i need see another specialist before my enlistment letter? btw i only have O lvl as highest qualification.

ok got it, will see a doc soon...
I was recently downgraded to PES C1L9 for severe corneal damage to my right master eye affecting vision. I am currently still serving my NS as a RP. Will I be revocated to a new vocation due to my new PES status? What vocations will I be eligible for? Is this solely decided by CPC or my current unit S1/Chief Clerk? I have about 6 months left to ORD.
Also, for those currently PES C1, will we have our PES changed to B2? If so how will the B2(L1-L3) apply to our PES C1(L1-L3,L9).
Thank you.
Dear Doc eac,
Need your advise on this: I was warrant a temp pes E1L9 for 3 mths due to hypertension and high cholesterol, but was recently diagnosed with new medical condition of Diabetes by blood test while seeking help for my tarsal tunnel syndrome by a neurologist, and has been referred to a endocrinologist, will the new condition of diabetes have any effect on my current temp pes status as to if i will be deem to downgrade permanently as same status, or further downgrade?
Thank you.

It will still be within PES E range.
Still, you can take this new memo to give to the camp MO as an additional reference when reviewing upon the present temporary status due expiry.

For this, please liaise with your S1 Manpower Officer / Chief Clerk.
Medical Board only review your PES, whereas S1 Manpower Branch will review your vocation.
What exactly is "Manoeuvre vocations"?
am diagonse with major depressive disorder by mmi.
was refer to hospital as i am going to ord.
do i need to show my camp mo the referal letter? mmi doc did not say anything only ask me to go book appt at hospital. not sure will they follow it up or not either. since even for nsmen u need to update your medical conditions
any ideas?
Please walk to the Medical Centre in camp to clarify with the medics or MO.

Depends on the degree of severity. I seen one at medical centre quite serious the elbows are uneven the back twisted. PES C or E for that, I believed.
hi all,
im wondering that does severely overweight, mildly overweight, mildly underweight or severly underweight affects the allocation of PES? if the body is fit and napfa result is silver and above.
I guess no for underweight. But serverley overweight yes, they will put you through more training. So prepare for more army days.
ic but i heard severly underweight might need too.
Thanks a lot

I went to cmpb on jan 2010 and was given pes B even though I said that I had eczema history. The MO said that i had very mild eczema and gave me pes B but when i went back to cmpb on may,i was given back de same pes even though i had specialist letter by the national skin centre and the MO said my is not the worst case and the medicine i am taking is very mild.My eczema are active now on my back chest and elbows are caused by sweat and humidity and will itch a lot.
What are the things which my specialist shld include in his letter? because my specialist did not state my cause for eczema....btw i was given a C9L9 when i went for a check up on 2006 b4 entering poly...
Also can i request for a different MO to review my case?

Hi,
Just want to check if anyone knows the likely PES status for Hyperthyroidism?
Regards
hi just need some advise on my situation.
im pes E9L9 and completed 2 years of service.
but i disrupted to go
studies and now have few more months left to
serve. im about to be
downgraded to PES F. im ok with that since its
very disruptive to
go back but im worried about future job
prospects. i have uni
education (ntu/nus/smu) and come from top school
and i have work
experience too including internship at govt
linked places.
ironically none of those places ever asked of my
NS background
then. just a small box asking for my status
which i usually tick
deferred and write pes E9L9, or sometimes i
write exempted. no one
even follows up on it and asks me whats wrong.
i saw some of the other postings and there are
ppl saying its
impossible to get job etc. is this true or just
rumours? anyone
knows of this happening first hand whereby
someone with PES F is
rejected for a job due to med condition? i would
think with so many
foreigners around no one really goes into
details abt NS matters
anymore. unless ur PES F is a very serious case.
mine is actually
due a form of anxiety disorder/social stress
disorder. its not
severity of it but rather SAF environment is not
suitable for me.
anyone who's served NS would know why. some
advise will help.
thanks.
