IHL Further Studies: NS Deferment Procedures ?

Recently,i've just applied a course in NYP as my first choice through JPAE.
I'm turning 20 this Oct and I'm currently studying in ITE college east with the GPA of 3.744.
I'm graduating this April.
I'm really hoping to go in any of the course that i've applied.
I've defer once already to go in to ITE and i'm going to defer again once i got the CMPB letter.
So,my worry is that,can NS call me up to enlist even though i'm still half-way studying in poly?

how can they call u up halfway when u already deferred?
when u start your course you should let them know
not wait till the letter come then u defer

I've heard from my firends that,they can call you up even though you haven't finish studying in poly.
How to defer if i haven't finish my studies in ITE?
Must wait for the letter what.They will give you a date for you to defer.

just get a letter from the poly, go cmpb show them the letter and defer already what.

Go to your poly's admin office and get a letter from them to request for deferment (they deal with this sort of thing quite often, seriously).
Go to CMPB and submit the letter to them.
There, problem solved.

why dun they revamped the primary and secondary education and revamped to GPA system.

if your deferment is successful, by right is no. if you ask me by left, I dunno wor.

Like I said, getting deferments for their own students is pretty routine stuff for polytechnics. So this should tell you something, no?
But if you want me to be direct, then, yes, MINDEF can send you the enlistment notice and ask you to report for enlistment while you're in poly.
After all, your original deferment was for ITE and does not cover poly. So since you're graduating soon, MINDEF assumed that you're ready for enlistment.
So..... just get another deferment when you're in poly then.

Yes, they may. The same goes for JC and CI. But if they do, just get another letter and send it back to them, and they will let you off the hook until you complete your poly studies.

Why can't people just go and get the right people to answer the right questions?

i know someone who deferred until 23. so, why not!! get a referral letter from poly. fax it to CMPB, that should be all if im not wrong.

They would not call you up for enlistment when you are studying.... then what will happen to your studies? They possibly ask you to go back during ya holidays, you are not a NSman... So dont worry one this part!!
What you have to do now, is you go get ya application for poly done if you have not do so. Then call CMPB and let them know about your situation... you can call 1800 3676767.. the person is usually a female, and they are quite helpful. They are just normal civilian and you can just let them know your situation and ask them for advise. Since you do not have a unit, all your queries will be directed to CMPB.
get ready also your letter of acceptance from the poly and give it to the CMPB when required.
