DB charge lo.
Not sure whether SAF's regulations are available to the public since most only bother to access such documents during active time.
I doubt theres a clearly list out list of chargable offence since its usually up to the OC/CO etc to decide on the type and duration of punishment.
confirm get charged.
DB. or at least SOL if ur PC wants to be kind

Wah...icyboiz...u enlist how long only? Already considering AWOL? If u hate the army so much u should really serve and F* off. AWOL will extend your service terms....
unless your officers and sergeant majors really hate you or you AWOL because of some ridiculous reason, you would most likely just get slapped with extra guard duties or SOL.
hello guys, anyone know what's the charge for awol like? has been running for few years and recently get caught..
Depends lol.
If your PC/OC is kind then maybe you could get away with a SOL.
That happened to one of my peers while I was in NS. But still, he got 28 days SOL despite getting away without a DB charge.
Haiz.
DB. Why AWOL! You get more days of service in return.
How many days u go into DB adds on to how many days you can ORD after your ORD day. For example, 1 April ORD becomes 8 April ORD after 7 days of DB.
730 days not enough? Still wan make it 737?

Actually the extension of ORD is longer lol IMO.
Let's say some lame guy AWOL for a week (7 days). He tio charged and sent DB and spends 1 week (7 days) in DB. Since days AWOL and spent in DB do not count towards service liability, his ORD is extended by 14 days instead.
So think twice before you AWOL. Not worth it and stupid IMO.
When I was serving NS, I know of a case where one ang kong siao AWOL 4-5 times during his NS, he was charged but only given extras, because OC no balls, scared he gets targetted outside. But those nerdy ones, minor things only he put in DB.
Capt. Wong Chin Keng (retired), you are pathetic.
Haha.. sometimes got personal reasons behind de... like the family problem of servicemen...
Sometimes officer also soft-hearted... give chance...
But whack one time hard hard... when cannot tahan...
A lot of admin problem if charge him everytime he go AWOL.
Consolidate and charge one short... LOL...

That ang kong siao is definitely not family problems, everybody knows he go chiong on those nights, that's why never report for duty.
My OC got no balls, scared offend him outside kenna whack.
But those nerdy ones, even minor things also go DB.

wat's DB
If you hate serving the SAF my advice to you is stay out of trouble and do your time swee swee.Going AWOL is stupid because it doesnt shorten your NS time but more time is added to it instead.So think properly ar!

Your OC could have stayed in wat!.I think he scared kena whack in camp>LOL
An officer should never practice double standards and charge a soldier according to the offence.The DB time is for the soldier to refect on his dumb mistake and not come out angry for revenge.

How long did he AWOL? If he AWOL for very long time then good luck to him then. His sentence is gonna be very long.
I don't think you could visit him (duh!). Only MAJ and above can walk in into DB without permission.
PC=Platoon Commander (most prob 2LT)
OC=Officer Commanding (shld be CPT)
SOL=Stoppage of Leave
he awol few years. more than 4 years. can't even visit him when he is in DB?
will the unit people come home visit? usually how long then will know the result for the sentence?
SAF Act Chapter 295

running away for 4 years? the charge wont be light man.. and i doubt the db term is a few months kinda thing.

I also think so......if can do DB few month after AWOL 4 years.....I'm sure there's will be people willing to take such risk.
