  During my Dad's time which was in 1980, u will 100% get charged and sent to DB. U r really lucky cos now NS is not so strict .

  As long as not DB should be happy cos DB will affect ur future while SOL should not.

  No need to be depressed... whether the live rounds are in the magazine or not, no one is supposed to cock it, unless they are at the shooting area at range. Don't worry, as a recruit, you are excused for being a bit blur-er. My bro failed his technical handing tests in BMT (because he didn't know about the IA sequence). Now, he's in unit... his SAR21 got triple feeding, he also can remedy himself. Just need to put yourself to more practice. And remember, always check over and over again. You won't be faulted for it (Y)

  justbpicture your buddys head blown into 4 pieces as u accidentally pressed the trigger with barrel accidentally in his face....the mess and blood all over your uniform and face ...wont smell that nice.

  remeber if the live round dont go off when trigger is squeezed...shout ia ia....then wait a moment for faulty bullet in chamber while holding  gun firmly in case the bullet goes off!.....then pull charging handle to eject faulty bullet outa gun and onto the floor.

  ged wont be coming in here.....he is too busy at werk.

  Haha, range is the most fun part for me. Why so kan-cheong sia? Its an unforgettable experience man. Just got to learn to enjoy it. Never clean rifle properly right thats why so many IA rounds. Haha. You are damn lucky your sergeant just ignore it. If it was me, I would have give you 1x good 'ehem' session. Live rounds leh bro, not blanks. You are very very lucky=] Got to learn to enjoy the live range.

  well i thought the SAR-21 cleaning is much easier compare to the M-16?
