As you know NS cannot bring camera phone. So I think I better change to a non camera one soon. But which phone is good ar? I dont remember seeing a non-camera phone at those Hello shops. Maybe I suaku.
I prefer something that allows me to surf wi-fi or something that can keep me occupied whenever possible, including NS time. Price-wise, I do not think so expensive ba. Just one with reasonable performance.
Thanks.
Nokia N51 can be considered..
if you are getting into SPF. don't bother buying a non camera phone..
and tekong got wifi to use meh??
even if got also no place for you to charge your phone.
u can try 7-11 if u wanna get non-camera phone
But dun expect those phones to have much functions other than calls and sms
Or u can considered HTC snap, non camera version.
N51 i see alot of NS guys using when I was at CMPB
dunno larh, tekong n wifi then surf the wireless lor, or what ever is available.
any more suggestions?

Wifi is totally use in army camps cos there is unlikely to be any free wireless available for u to use due to security reasons.

not E51 meh...
Just buy those el cheapo camera-less phones at 7 Eleven. Seriously.
All you need in camp is a phone with SMS and voice call. You want entertainment, bring along a little transistor radio or a good paperback book.
You bring some high-end phone or whatever, and it gets stolen, then too bad for you.
I remember having to stand-by bed at least twice during BMT because some fella lost his handphone.....

My time, there was a theif in tekong who goes to other coy to steal their stuff during lunch. End up all meal times 2 ppl had to stay in coy and guard and all bunks had to be locked everytime we leave it. We even had MPs around tekong for 1 or 2 days before they found out the guy.
Most expensive item lost was an O2 phone i think.
I got alot of non camera hp. Selling it cheap at between $10 to $20 a phone.
Who want can message me
