He can run at least twice a day with varying distances and speed, having more than 2 PT sessions in a day.
If you are a man in his unit, I am sure you will be tanned, muscular and super fit. But he understand what is sports injury so he know RICE therapy. He understand the rest needed for sport injury and time taken to recover.
Can you imagine after a short warm up light 10 km run, and still have to 100 push up, 200 sit up and plus plus..., everyday ?
Actually to me, as long as the spec is willing to join his men in whatever training he gives, that is not really considered tekanning. To me tekan is when he watch while everyone is doing what he instructs.
However, erm i think after 1-2 days under ur friend, i will see MO more than i see him :p

Whether a man life is good or bad depend on his boss. I am sure my friend will help the SAF to train up super-fit soldier... to protect my country... ( actually I heck care I ORD along time ago) ... But I am fitter than him...
Actually I always stay in the office and slack, when my work is done. Although sometimes I OT , while others have all gone home, I actually get "off" the next day... so ... ironical life

Haha, it sounds ironic but thats my life cos my workload varies daily. U believe i can slack all afternoon and have to OT? Sometimes when suay i only get work closer to bookout time and if they say urgent, i OT.
Furthermore, others take leave is rest, i take leave is to take rest 1 day to OT the next since noone will touch my work (somehow i also prefer they don't cos high chance i need remove everything they done n redo anyway).

Nope, Autotech but i do the system work and my time was when they just started using the new ES system so very few ppl is trained to work with it. :p
That was only during my last 8 months or so of service. I was still a regular technician before that though i still occasionally go out to do a vehicle inspection when there is a need to.
Oh well are way out of topic. Moderator never do his job...
VEES is good. Most of my friends went in and out safe and sounds, and it now either working or doing study in ITE or Poly.
If one sign on under the VEES scheme, you will give you time to study to retake the N, O level, supporting your education, ... all the way up to poly, degree now with the NEW specialist scheme. The only price that you have to pay is the bond that you have to serve. If you are happy-go-lucky person, opt for the VEES. By the time you are 25 grad, you will be richer than everyone else.

haha, i'm less particular about OT topics as long as they stay SAF related and there is no flame wars

if you cant study one, after ORD can become a car mechanic
if you can study, repairing your own car also can save alot of $$$

When u work with a transport coy that everyday loaning others their vehicles, its not that slack. I had 200+ vehicles to be shared by 2 sections for repairs making 100+ to be shared by 7-9 NSFs n 2-3 regulars.
Doing system work, i was the only SME in camp so i had to assist STK, 3 transport coy n 2 maintainance section with their system problems.

all support personnels are slackers. only guardsman, armor troopers, combat engineers, commandos, divers, SIR, are not slackers. "Slacker" is just a nickname, dont get too upset about it.

Actually slack is a very subjective term. All the logistics units works all year round. We don't really have a low period like the combat units where its time to mass clear leave or just slack in camp after a major exercice etc.
For major exercises, all the logistics units have to work OT to support the exercise and after exercise we still have our regular work. In terms of physical exhaustion obviously we can't compare but in terms of workload, thats hard to compare cos diff vocations have diff type of 'workload'

Each vocations got it pros and cons and they are all useful in one way or another.
