New SAF Ranks: 3rd Warrant Officer (3WO) & Senior LTC (SLTC)

  saw in today's papers. 3WO is a crab on a bigger boat and a smaller rooftop.

  and there's now a 2 crabs on leaves. what is that for?

  The 3WO look like the 2WO.......nearly impossible to differentiate considering the only difference is the thickness of the chevron.

  SLTC?I guess we shouldn't have too much trouble differentiating who's a farmer...and so on in the future.

  Then where do these MDEs slot in? Similar to the US Army Specialists?

  MDES are closer to the US Army Warrant Officer Corps. Professionals who are on a parallel command structure.

  do anyone noe the starting pay for each MDES grade?

  ie,

  ME1>>starting pay?

  ME2>>starting pay?

  ME3>>starting pay?

  ME4>>starting pay?

  ME5>>starting pay?

  ME6>>starting pay?

  ME7>>starting pay?

  ME8>>starting pay?

  Need to sign any contract/bond?

  If found the job not suitable, can we quit like the private sector by giving 1 month notice?

   

  And what the equivalent rank when people of different rank are converted from current rank to MDES rank??

  For Eg, CPL= wat ME? ME1 or 2??

  SWO = ME?

  MAJ = ME?

  etc

  there're different entry points according to last held rank and educational qualifications. if i'm not wrong, the entry grades are ME1 and ME4. should be comparable to last held pay. but i don't think it'll be more.
