Make regular running part of your lifestyle don't wait until 1 month before IPPT to start jogging usually it takes 1 month to jump start....frequency of running at least twice a week and as IPPT comes near increase frequency to 3 times a week.
If you have family make it a family event you run they played. best place to run is ECP...evening hour. There are excerise station for you to do Pull up and sit up after the run. Very soon you would get money for IPPT.
Weight control don't put on too much weight .
Usually i don't have much problems with the running. My biggest obstacle is the standing broad jump.
even when i was at peak condition in the army, i still find it very very difficult to make the passing grade.
while some people are naturally good at it.
sound like you need to conquer the failure in your mind first. Just visual your imagination that you jump pass the line.... : )
To me standing broad jump is physics coordinating posture and applying certain muscle at the right time. and the momentum would help you to swing across the line. So probably watch your form. train on certain part of the muscle.
