Ethics / 7 Core Values: Do U Abide To?

  Hi. Are any of our soldiers or units taught a code of conduct or ethics or honour apart from the 7 core values?

   

  I.e. Not hitting women. Not attacking civilians etc. Being an officer and a gentleman. That kind of thing?

  
  I don't ever remember ever hearing it in the army during my ns days, but maybe it depends on the unit. I,e. do commandos have their own special code? Or is it that specialists or regulars have their own code and stuff?

   

  Just asking, coz my friend said SAF is very civilized and has their own code of honour. I just don't seem to ever remember anything about honour being taught to me in the saf?

  No code to be taught, black ops are taught that anything goes in Singapore sercurity.

  Well...I believe in Core Value 9 in support of Core Value 8: "If caught,deny knowledge of anything, if proven to have knowledge in issue,claim amnesia."

  SAF regulars...follow first...den i follow.

  Loyalty to Country - i loyal to myself and family only

  Leadership -  i'm a passive guy by nature

  Discipline - i luv porn

  Professionalism - i don't believe in this too much

  Fighting Spirit -  i fight for the things i like, and that doesn't include SAF

  Ethics -  paper and armchair generals, as well as nerds with stars on their shoulders, are not fit to talk about ethics

  Care for Soldiers - care for those paper generals first
