Hi, I have just been called up for Sar 21 conversion course
1. My PES status is C1L3 and I was excused range for high myopia
2. I have gone through M16 rifle course but I did not go for range
I just want to ask
a. Will I require to shoot?
b. What is the 2 day programme like?
The 2 day course is called SAR Familisation Shoot.
Hi do you know those excused range
1. Do we need to go for range and shoot?
2. What is the drills like?
3. Is it very regimental or treat us like adults?

Ur MO will assess whether you can shoot...
yes you need to go to range n shoot, there's day n night shoot
If u NSman, they will treat you like adults but if u misbehave at the range, good luck to you coz the conducting officer will screw you...
if you feel bored, bring a book to read or music to listen[tts wat every1 does]... times passes slowly...
Officers will give briefings, they will be specialists around, RelaXx its fun...
u goin w ur kakis for the shoot?!
What do you mean by MO assess?
We are already C1L3 excuse range
Do me and my buddies need to report sick for the MO to assess and look again?
So now we are no longer excuse range?
I know I need to do IPPT every year or kena RT
But I need not go for range
Please the 2 brothers above please enlighten this noobish reservist

Report when u attend ICT so that Medical officer[MO] will c whether you need to go for range or not...
Dear Bro Acx1688,
This is not ICT, they said it is 2 days 1 night training, they say it is definately not counted as a low key ICT but a "normal training" (LOL, I still though wah so good can clear one ICT with 2 days only)
I supposed those with the same conditions should just tell the conducting officer
