I got permission to take 4 yrs leave from SAF to go uni to study. I will serve back the last 6 weeks i owe them in 2011 when i graduate. Whoever is in Selarang camp in 2011 can come find me :p

i enlisted after completing poly. i enlisted when i was 20 yrs old.dkcx, i see. i thought only MOs have the right to disrupt. i was wrong then.

All poly sept batch can disrupt to enter uni in Aug to be fair to them as the June batch will enter uni at the same time.
MO normally is disrupt before they start NS or near the beginning so they can come back and serve as MO and rarely at the end of their service

If you can go tekong means u have a chance for leadership batch. If not theres a higher chance of mono intake without going tekong for ITE ppl which is to the combat units.

yea, i had one gf when i enlisted. but then we broke up after me being in 2 weeks of bmt. i got into a state of depression and had to go for counciling. -

I didn't have any but i've had friends/colleages who told me they lost theirs during NS.

We had a guy with depression a few months back on the forums and his gf stand by him and continue to support him despite his problem.

botak yes as far as i know. Tekong is for people who are in leadership batches and have chances for SISPEC/OCS. Mono is almsot no chance at all.
Go tekong and you can be posted to any vocation be it combat or logistic. Mono and you are stuck there for 2 yrs unless you revocate for medical reasons.

Relationships depends on how u 2 manage it. Actually if you loss her during NS, u at least know that shes not worth your time and wasn't really that true to u. Just forget her and look for someone else more worthy of your love.

but what if the problem lies on me? Think alot in the camp and got depression like 'sonic'(touch wood!), then will it be my fault and she will think i'm not worth for her?
