Medical checkup is always on a weekday. Try to book appointment at a time during your holidays or if u must skip classes, find a time where you have less or not important classes since the entire medical checkup process can take 3-4 hrs.

Posting to SCDF is quite low. Those posted to SPF and SCDF like strike lottery in a sense since the chances are abit similar when u consider the number of people enlisting and the number of vacancies in each.

why would u want to be posted to SCDF? anyway, from what I heard from my cousin, the SCDF personnel very slack one. Everyday play games, have steamboat etc. dunno if he big hole or if it's true.

I book on the Friday at 1pm.. The process take 3-4hours?! What if i get there later than 1pm can? Cos i study at College East.

There are 2 components in the medical checkup. 1 is the medical checkup itself and the other is the super long test you have to do. Depending on what time u finish the medical checkup, if there is time then u can go do the test if not u need come back on another day.
Its been said that the test might determine your vocation so try not to mess it up. To do it decently well will take over 1hr or closer to 2.

There are chances to be posted from tekong to SCDF and SPF but the chances is damn low. From SCDF and SPF i don't think you can be posted to army since you lack the basic army training that BMT teaches but i not sure.
Ambulance post i dunno sorry.

I see, but most probably i will wear my School uniform for the medical checkup can right? What if i'm late at 1pm how?

Any attire is fine but please wear a pair of shorts inside cos u need take off ur pants and shirt at station 6. I don't think they allow people to wear only their underwear anymore so wear shorts under ur pants on that day.
The appointment is just a rough guide for u so that it won't be super pack on that day. U book 1pm but u can go before or after 1pm as well and i don't think they really care that much. The main reason for the timeslots are to split up the ppl coming and not have every1 reporting at the same time.
