NSman IPPT: MP3 Player & Personal Sports Shoes for 2.4km ?

  hi!

  anyone tried listening to mp3 player while taking part in 2.4km ippt? Saw one guy took out his player and listen after starting to run in 2.4km at khatib camp. Is this allow? thought inside camp cannot bring mp3 players and camera handphones?

  There are alot of things tekong cannot which unit and NSmen can do

  I believed the person u see is an NSmen. Yes, for NSmen, u can listen to MP3 while you take IPPT. For active personnel is not allowed. The reason is that NSmen report to camp just to take IPPT and they need to do whatever it takes to boost their motivation to complete the 2.4KM.

  i did tt for my sch 2.4km last month (bef mid year paper) but failed becoz of my wiring

  NSmen = ORD = Citizen Soldier = Civilian

  so they can do anything they want... mp3, expensive sports shoes...

   

  
  NSF = 11B holder, NRIC kept by Mindef = NS Boy = Compulsory 2 years civil servant...

  so law by law, use saf new balance or brookes sports shoes, and no mp3 at all.

  Well, we sticked to convention that time, new balance shoes... not too bad...
