SINGAPORE: A Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) regular serviceman, who was in Taiwan to support the SAF's training there, has died.
A statement by Singapore's Defence Ministry says First Sergeant Ang Joo
Pin was found motionless in his bunk in a Taiwanese military facility
on Monday at 7.15am.
He was given immediate medical attention by a SAF senior medic and
efforts to resuscitate him continued en route to the hospital.
The 30-year-old ammunition technician arrived at the hospital at about 7.35am and was pronounced dead five minutes later.
MINDEF says it will assist the family in their time of grief and is investigating the incident.

May he rest in peace
RIP.
Hmm, another cardic arrest???
RIP
RIP
anyone knows which base?
May he rest in peace.
hey.. this is a worrying trend.. Why suddenly our servicemen start dying so frequently??
Having stupid superiors in the army causes servicemen to die early
RIP..
It is indeed a worrying trend.
Maybe it's some kind of pathogen that induces cardiac arrest..? I mean, so many army guys died because of sudden cardiac arrest. Presuming that these are all related, the only common factors between these people are the camps/bases. Hmm....
But it's just a theory..
actually they should just open up and let public know what was the cause of dead rather than let the public speculate.
For our comrade. RIP.
