Oh, and I used to put my leg on my wife when I sleep when not at home.
Nah, after slping with the 1st 1. I got so disinterested in them that during all the ONS, i just lock them by the door and make 'her' really one night stand :p

Ah ya everyone who comes here should be over 18 le la and our ONS also not with girls so its not like we talking anything perverted. You not small kid le, so sensitive to such thigns meh. We just using 'sex' terms to talk about army life :p Theoritically, we still talking about SAF stuff
You will have 'jungle training' during your field camp, SIT test and 1 day in field camp will be FIBUA which is teaching you how to fight in urban buildup areas.

FIBUA is more like fighting against normal and terrorist forces in urban buildup areas but not against specially trained or armed forces.

Generally thats all you fight in urban areas what. Which army will want to hide in their towns/cities and wait for enermy to arrive to have war in their town and damage it?
who say there isnt any more change parade? i just had one recently. i just POPed though

A change parade means your specs ask u to change from pt to no. 4 to pt etc etc a couple of times for punishment.
Is that really what you went through or is it something else you assume to be change parade?
If your specs really made you all do a change parade, u can complain about it since its already been ban by SAF many yrs back.
went to pasir ris int yesterday & saw those soon to be recruits queueing up for the shuttle bus..

You must have been naughty.
Another section in my platoon had that as punishment for playing a prank on their mate.
So is there still have any changing paradenow?
1 more question, during the 3month BMT, when will we get our rifle? At which month?
Originally posted by linwei20:So is there still have any changing paradenow?
By right, there is suppose to be no more changing parade.
But from some of the posts here, it seems that some of the more "lao jiao" CSMs still carry out these punishments. Those who are punished are free to report it to their immediate superior (PC ), though most probably nothing will be done. That is why quite a number of parents of the recruits turned straight to the MP to get something done.
Okay i see.
Then what about rifle? At which month will the recruits draw their own rifle?

About 2 weeks later if I'm not mistaken..

Are you from the enhance batch?
If you are, you should get your rifle before your 1st bookout.
If you are not, then you should get it within 2 weeks after completing your PTP.
PTP batch will get their rifles on the 5th week while direct BMT batch will get it on their 1st week mostly. This is done at school level so the PTP batches will wait for the BMT batches to enlist and do it all together.
ma de... change parade no more liao ar?? Na bei... last time i BMT early in the morning change parade during the 5bx time.... woooo shiok leh... kanina... change damn fast... hahaha..
Too bad change parade is gone now...
Anyway, the worst is not change parade.. the worst is the field pack inspection, everything out and displayed in 1 min... kanina... never succeed, never mind everything in in 1 min, then out again, then in... whole lot knock it down. Never mind, 3 mins to change into your smart 4 and come down. Never mind, 5 mins, whole platoon fall in with your rifle. Stand by bed in 15 mins, rifle inspection.... blah blah... BMT is fun, damn fun... one hell of an experience, at night go 100m sprint with ya sergeants, doing exercise until 9++, go bath, eat noodles, eat titbits, talk to friends then go sleep... shiok!!
SOC, push up on mimosa. Field camp, contacted in muddy fields, heat rash and eating those lousy tasting food. Shiok!!!!!!!
POP singing that stupid song, marching around the parade square everyday, doing drils blah blah blah... Shiok!!!

For me, because I enlisted on a friday(enhanced batch, mono intake though), I got my rifle on monday, which is excluding weekends would be almost immediately since that week would count as week 1.So it really depends.
So enlistment after 2weeks can draw rifle already? Then the rifle will be with us for how long?

Throughout your BMT.
Anyway, why do you ask so much?
I had more fun being ignorant.

Mono intake and tekong might be different. Tekong rifles are only given out at the start of BMT cos PTP has no combat training.
