Hey guys, just wanna clarify something regarding the firing of arms, cos my last live range was more than a year ago, i forgot liao haha.
Lets say my mag got 5 rounds, then i cock the gun, so it can be fired already rite? Assuming after i cock and i take out the mag, will the loaded round still be side the gun or will it come out with the mag tgt?
And if the round is inside, can it be fired without a mag?
Thx for your "refreshment". LOL.
when u cock the rifle, the live round will be in the chamber already. so the rifle will still be loaded even if u take out the magazine.
TO SUCKTOES:
U NEVER FIRED A GUN IN YER LIFE OR ARE U UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR MILITARY OFFENCE?

- yes
- the round inside the chamber will still be there when the mag is removed unless you cock again then it will be ejected.
-yes.
A gentle reminder to TS:
1)Always set to "Safe" when you are not cleared for firing or finishing a check clear.
2)Always check clear your weapon yourself even when your partner says it is clear. Please turn on your L torch or get your partner to turn on his when doing a check clear during night shoot.....don't just rely on your natural "nightvision"

Once you cock the gun, a round will enter the rifle, hence 4 rounds will be left in the magazine.
When you take out the magazine, the single round will still be in your rifle, and if you were to pull trigger, the round will still go off as per normal.
If you want to check whether if there is anything inside your chamber, just pull the cock and peek inside through the opened latch by the side of the rifle at a tilted angle under sufficiently bright light.
Many misfire cases happen because soldiers forget to check clear before leaving the firing grounds.
Rmb that IA and "check clear" MUST always remove the magazine.
Relax TS,
Before every live firing exercise, they'll put you through
1) Weapon Handling - Basic intro to wpn, stripping, assembly, firing positions, IA drills
2) Zeroing - Electronic or live whichever applicable
3) Walkthrough, Dry run, blanks run, test run and actual test etc etc...
Pretty much, you should be pretty refreshed by the time you reach the range...unless you really have a slow learning curve.
