Went down to the SAF CMPB today and cleared some questions with the personnel there about joing the Navy or Army.Apparently if you're a graduate trying to sign on as an officer but were a man during your NS days you don't qualify for enlistment.
Is there any way around this or do they look at joining on a case by case basis?
hmm not sure leh, but you can try backing up ur case with lotsa testimonials and evidence (such as CCA leadership proof) and show that you are very enthusiastic and have a good record in leading, as well as excellent fitness, they'll prolly consider? heh.

I dont think so at least for Navy. Navy is looking for degree holder for engineering officer posts. you are expected to solve all the engineering technical issues. Same vocation as Keppel shipyard....
If you are a degree = officer, diploma holder = Specialists. They expect you to know how to fix the ships with you specialised engineering knowledge.
They looking for engineers. I dont think you even need to go through OCS (may not applied for Naval Officers)
Your application will be rejected. There is no way around this I'm afraid. Best of luck for other job opportunities.
you just want to joint SAF or a military outfit?
