erm...hi all... i will be enlisting to 41 SAR this July 10th which coy will i be in? AI fun to be cause sounds lk fun to me...erm...41 got other enthenic groups lk malays??or indians cause i heard from my friend armour regiments hardly got any other ehtenic groups...
pls show me the light...

heh if nothing goes wrong, chances are you are going to Falcon..
like all armour and artillery units, there are no malays within the units.. only indians but chinese are the majority. my platoon was all chinese.

heh no worries la. at first most of us also wonder why arty/armour units don't have malays.. arty do have malays for storemen or clerks i think.. not sure.
41 has an arty unit just beside, 21st Bn Singapore Artillery.

my reservist PC have just mentioned that it was because of the ties our local malays have with mudland(religious) smth like that...he has asked one of his friend who is muslim that if got war break out btw sg and mudland which party he would side with...he said religion...there you are...

should be OC of falcon right....CO is the one who is in charge of the whole battalion..

OC of falcon is a very nice guy, he's CPT C.W. (Name not provided to protect his privacy here.. heh.).. my platoon chalet, he and a few of my plt mates went prawn fishing together for our bbq.. also always like to talk cock with us, come into the bunk to talk talk to us..
but of course, during work time he has to be serious.. so just be sure u know when to play and talk cock, and when to be serious..
falcon had a new batch of sergeants come in a few mths ago, so they're pretty raw.. not sure how'd they be like so i can't comment much about them, since they have never been on outfields with us before..
my PC is LTA A.Tan.. also a very very nice guy.
Falcon is a good coy to be in, so u should be lucky.
