BMT first 2 weeks confine then let say i 13 april enlist when can i have my first book out, 25th april or 1st may ?
confinement... sounds like u had a baby...
25th Apr if not 30th Apr since 1st is a public holiday
but if its 30th doesnt it make the confinement period becomes 3 weeks le
Usually up to the friday (after missing 2 weekends).
Going to BMT this Monday. Will ORD 7 Months Later LOL!!!
means is 30th April i will get to go home and not 25th ah, wah sian thats 3 weeks
Confinement is 2 weekends normally not 2 weeks.
Where you enlisting to? I thought most enlistment is Thurs-Sat which makes their 1st weekend comes very soon and thus makes it like 2 weeks only.
yeah, should be 30th april.
but also means once i have my first book out, 6 more weeks to go ? By the way ah how does one fail BMT what is needed to pass it
You just need to attend all the major activities like field camp, sit test, SOC, range etc and don't ATT B/C too much and you will pass.

Why leh dont scare me ...is it xiong unit or something, cause i enlisting into BMTC school 2 at tekong
U quote me for? Bo link leh
Anyway sch 2 has welfare coy but less than sch 1 i think but then things have changed. You are going for BMT so i assume you are fit then BMT should be fine for you. Just don't keng and you will be fine.
bmtc is the least xiong of all bmt intakes la..and yar some people confinement is like 16-17 days one so depends on the day u enlist.. mine was onl 12 days though..hahaha
huh bmtc is the least xiong of all bmt intakes ? what does the C means
wat C? Whether BMT is the most siong or least xiong of your NS life depends on where you get posted to. If posted to combat, BMT should likely be your least siong period of NS while being posted to logistics and BMT might be your toughest phase on NS.

I think he meant what the "C" for bmtc means. :)
C is for centre.
Then to make it more clear, BMTC is the name of the place, BMT is the programme u go through
yea the sch of bmtc is the least xiong as compared to the mono intakes.
mono intakes are for specialists right

BMT is for specialist and officers. Mono intake means you are stuck as men for 2 yrs.
yea im currently in an active unit where most of the men there are mono intakes, apart from some of us from tekong.
mono intake means they enlist into BMT in that unit itself, and serve there for the rest of the 2 years.
